Mini Photo Shoots

My mini photo shoots are designed to make things as relaxed, simple and easy as possible. They are much shorter in length than my regular sessions and I only hold them a couple of times a year at specific locations. Each session is 25 minutes long and is perfect if you are short on time, or want to update your family or headshot photographs, with a few beautiful new images.

When is the next mini session?

My next mini photo shoot day is on Saturday 23rd October ’21.

I will be holding mini photo shoots in a beautiful park in St. Margarets, SW London. The park has lots of trees and is the perfect backdrop for photographs, with lots of gorgeous autumnal colours.

Who can book?

My mini sessions work really well for family, maternity and headshot sessions. Whether you are looking to update your family photographs, create Christmas gifts for your family, or need some natural outdoor headshots for your website, these sessions are perfect for creating a few beautiful images.

They are especially popular with families who have toddlers, as the session time is nice and short. As a mother of a toddler myself, I know the benefit of keeping things quick and simple :0)

Due to the 25 minute session time, I do not provide mini sessions for extended family members and families with more than 3 children. For families with larger families or extended families, please book one of my regular family sessions, where we have more time to get everyone captured.

Before the Mini Photo Shoots

Once you are booked in, I will get you to complete a short questionnaire so I can find out a bit more about you and what you want to get out of the shoot. I will have a short preparatory call with you, to talk in detail about clothing, colours and styles that work well on camera. The main thing is that you feel comfortable in what you are wearing, as that will shine through in the photographs. I also share tips on how to prepare young children for the session, to help them feel as relaxed and happy as possible.

During the mini photo shoots

I will ask you to arrive 5 minutes before the session start time, so everyone can meet me and relax into the shoot. With children I spend those first few minutes without my camera, chatting with them so they have time to warm up and get to know me.

Throughout the session, I will give you lots of guidance and loads of encouragement, to help you feel as relaxed as possible. For families I also incorporate lots of play, games and movement in the sessions, to help keep the kids entertained and create natural, fun photographs.
